Daily Prayer For August 13, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Many who are praying with us today are straining, just trying to get a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. Many feel like they will never see the light of day again…please let them feel your nearness…please let them feel a touch from you even as we are praying… we ask for your help so we have faith that does not doubt and to have unwavering trust in you…may everyone truly feel confident that better days are coming…may they find comfort in your promise that our mourning will only be for a season and that joy will come again…
Please help us to grieve with hope…may each one feel comforted when they remember that our loved ones who have gone on before us, are more alive than ever …may our heart’s be filled with joy when we think about the amazing reunion we will have one day…
Lord, for those who are dealing with illness, injuries or disabilities… or those who have loved ones who are dealing with these things…may they be filled with hope, strength and courage to keep pressing on, when they remember your promise that one day we will have restored, renewed bodies that will never get sick or be in pain again. For those who are struggling financially, may they be filled with hope when they think of your word and how you have told us that your eye is watching us…you hear every cry and see every tear…
Father, may everyone feel your hope welling up inside them like an underground spring. May they feel your peace and a sense of well-being as they remember that you, their loving Father, will sooth their fears, dry their tears, protect them from the evil one and provide for their every need.
May we all be able to rejoice in your goodness and faithfulness and keep moving forward on the path before us…one day at a time…one step at a time, will get us where you want us to be. Help us to walk by faith and to see you more clearly. We love you, Father…we are grateful to be your children and heirs of your Kingdom. We look forward to the day when we will see you face to face. In the name of Jesus we ask these things, Amen.
