Daily Prayer For July 2, 2016

Dear Father God,

Today, we want to lift up all who are needing moral support and encouragement. So many are dealing with being neglected, shunned, abandoned, unsupported, misunderstood and rejected. We lift up all who are isolated and alone. We pray for all the spouses who have become caregivers, for the children who are caring for sick parents, for the parents who are caregivers to their children and grandchildren and anyone else who has stepped into a care-giving role. Many are trying to face all these things while battling their own illnesses and the job is just so, so difficult…We pray for those who have no family support… we pray for the kids in foster care and those who age out and have nothing and no one to count on… Father, we pray for healing…we pray for relief…we pray for rest for the weary, we pray for the needed resources and financial provision. Father, for those who are battling depression because they are so overwhelmed and isolated, we ask for relief and for your hope to flow through them…

For everyone who is dealing with an illness and is having to cope with it alone…for those who are finding little, to no understanding or compassion… we pray for the same things as we asked above. Please help those who have a voice, to speak out and raise awareness and educate others on how to help the hurting, the lonely, the sick, the bullied, those with mental health issues, the caregivers…

We pray for comfort and healing for all who have been hurt, especially by other Christians. We pray for emotional, mental, spiritual and physical healing. We pray for those who need to let go of anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, and traumatic memories…we pray for those who are so scarred they don’t know who to trust… or even how to begin to trust again…Lord, you make all things new… we are asking for life transforming miracles for everyone who is praying.

It’s hard to cover all the needs that are here, but you know us each by name and you know our needs before we speak them. You have a heart of compassion for all who are grieving and for all who sacrifice for the sake of their loved ones. You know the fatigue…you know the innermost thoughts and all that it takes, just to get through the day. May there be an outpouring of hope and healing. May people who are just holding on by a thread find your hand as they reach out. May they remember you will not let them fall and your grace is sufficient…even when it doesn’t feel like we can survive another day, we know your track record of seeing us through is 100%. Thank you for meeting each need, spoken and unspoken… We thank you for hearing our cries and for answering our prayers as only you can. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
