Daily Prayer For March 1, 2016
Tue Mar 01, 2016 11:36 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We come today and ask you to help us to have more confidence and trust in you… so many scriptures speak of having confidence in you and not men…sadly, our actions often show that we don’t have the trust and belief in you that we should have…we often are our own worst enemies as we allow our fears and anxious thoughts to hold us back and rob us of peace…Your word says that you will be our confidence and that you will keep our foot from falling…we are told that the fear of you Lord, is our strong confidence and that your children will have a place of refuge… we are reassured in your Word that we have this confidence, that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us.
Lord, over and over, we’re told in the Bible not to put our confidence in the flesh, in princes, or in strong, powerful men or rulers. May our confidence and faith be sure and steadfast and anchored in you and your promises.
Help us to remember the many things that you have done that prove our faith, trust and confidence in you is not misplaced …you provided manna in the wilderness to provide sustenance…you parted the Red Seas to provide a way of escape from enemies…you provided deliverance from the Lion for Daniel…you healed the blind and the sick from disease and infirmity…you gave Stephen a view of heaven to show him He was not alone as he was dying….Lord, you have made known in countless ways that you are our strength, our shield, our hope, our provider, our Savior!
Help us to go forth boldly each day with the steadfast conviction that because you are for us, we need not fear…we are more than conquerors…we are safe and secure in your presence…we are held…we are known…we are loved by you. We will be okay no matter what we face, because you are with us and you have promised to meet our needs. May these promises calm our fears and ease our restless minds…may we go forward with peace, confidence and a sense of security in you.We praise you Lord. We thank you… In Christ’s name we pray, Amen
Wishing you a blessed day today!
