Daily Prayer For March 13, 2016
Mon Mar 14, 2016 10:12 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
At times the roads are long and we become weary. We traverse the valleys, the deserts and barren places and darkness falls on us… but with your strength, we keep going and we eventually see the light of day again. The longer we journey on in this life, the closer we get to our eternal home and to you. When we are young, heaven seems like just a far away glimmer, but the older we get and the closer we get to our eternal home, the way grows brighter… the more that we focus on you and not the things of this world, the path to you becomes clearer…
We thank you for how far we’ve come…we thank you for all the things you’ve brought us through. We thank you for the ground we’ve gained and for your faithfulness through it all. We know that our hope lies in the fact that you are will be waiting for us at the end of our journey and this life as we’ve known it…thank you for being our faithful companion and for walking with us every step of the way.
Thank you for being our hope, our joy, our peace and our salvation. Thank you, for binding our wounds and for never tiring of our prayers. Thank you, for your consistent, unconditional love that never changes whether we fail, fall or stay on track on our journey. Thank you, for all the times you have stood by us…while people let us down and disappoint us, you never do. How great you are, Father and so worthy to be praised!
May we find your strength for the trials we are facing now…We want to run the race before us with endurance and perseverance…the further we go on our journey’s, the more we realize how much we need you … we realize how much we depend on you… Oh, Lord,we look forward to the day when we will see you face to face and feel your loving embrace and know that everything we endured in this life, was so worth spending eternity with you. Use us Lord, even as you heal us. May we comfort others with the same comfort which you give to us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
May you feel His peace and presence!
