Daily Prayer For February 20, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
You are the Lord God Almighty…the one who never sleeps, slumbers or rests. You always hear us and you never take your eyes off of us. Nothing takes you by surprise. You see all and you hear all. You knew us before we were formed and you know us by name. You are intimately acquainted with us. You know our every thought, hear our every cry, see our every tear and know when we sit and when we rise. There is no one who loves us more, or thinks of us more…your thoughts of us are more than the number of grains of sand and if you are for us, it doesn’t matter who comes against us…You are so powerful even the winds and the waves obey you. You hold the stars in place in the sky. With one touch…one word…one thought from you…. the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk and the dead are raised. Death could not hold you. There is no one like you, Lord and you are so worthy to be praised.
We thank you that by Christ’s blood we are healed and we are cleansed and purified and made white as snow… through Him we are more than conquerors…we are redeemed we are heirs to your kingdom and have the right to call you Abba Father… how blessed we are to be your children!
Lord, today help us to focus on the things we have to be thankful for and the things that we have to look forward to…may we meditate on your Word and let your Words strengthen us and encourage us…may we remember that what we can’t do, you can… what we think we can’t overcome, you say we can. When the enemy says that we will always be in pain, you say that you turn our mourning to joy. When we say we are too weak, you say that your strength is manifest in our weakness. When we say things are too hard, you say to take your yoke for it easy and light. When we say we are in need, you say that you will give us our daily bread…you tell us if you provide for the sparrows, that you will do even more for us. May we receive and not doubt your promises so we may be at peace and find rest in your loving arms. There is nothing we can’t overcome, because you are greater than anything in this world… We thank you and praise you for who you are, Lord… for what you’ve done in our lives… and what you are going to do still. We love you and give you all praise, glory and honor. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
