Daily Prayer For February 28, 2016
Tue Mar 01, 2016 11:28 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you, for who you are. Thank you, for being our light in the dark. Thank you, for carrying us on the days we are too weak to stand on our own. Thank you for being there for us when others turn their backs…thank you for your love, compassion and concern and your faithfulness even when we are unfaithful.
Lord, we lift up to you all who are ill and we ask for your healing touch to be upon them. For all who are stuck in bed, or at home…for those who are in hospitals, convalescent homes or rehab facilities… may they feel your presence and get the best care possible. Please send people to minister to them, so they won’t feel alone and isolated. Please send people who will stand with them through thick and thin and be your hands and feet.
Please give strength and refreshment to all the spouses, children, parents and caregivers who can’t get out because they are taking care of someone. Lord, you see all who are praying and you know their needs before they even ask. Some have been in very long, dry, painful seasons for years..help them to trust and cling to your promises even as Abraham did through his many years of waiting…fill them with your Living Water and refresh the dry, worn out places with your energy, strength and comfort…
For all those around the world, who went to bed hungry…for those who have no place to call home…for all who are trapped in circumstances that seem to have no way of escape… we ask for provision and protection, Lord… we ask with faith as tiny as a mustard seed, believing that nothing is too hard for you and nothing is impossible for you. Please intervene and make a river in the desert and a path in the wilderness. Please give hope and help as only you can, Lord…
For those who are engaged in battles whether earthly or spiritual ones… please go before them. Be their shield and fortress, their ever-present help in times of trouble.Grant them your favor, Lord… Give them your courage, strength and power and may they remember that a heavenly host is encamped about them …your angels are constantly battling and protecting us from things that we can’t see… so many are dealing with multiple losses and issues. Lord, help them as they adjust and adapt to all the changes in their lives. Help us all to remember we are not alone. You will provide and help each of us on every step of our journey. The road may not be easy and the path may be long and winding, but our destination is secure and our future is bright.
Keep our hearts soft and tender for you, Lord… please don’t let the hard things of life make us bitter, angry or resentful. Teach us and mold us to be like you. Thank you, Lord, that because of what you did on the cross…because of who you are, we need never fear, doubt or worry about our future. The victory is already won and we are securely in your hands! We love you Lord and we thank you for all our blessings. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
God bless you and keep you friends!
