Daily Prayer For March 2, 2023

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for another opportunity to join together in prayer. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for interceding for us when we don’t know how to pray…when the words just won’t come. We are grateful we can come to The One who lacks nothing in times of great need and lack. We are thankful that we have a safe place of comfort and rest in you…that words aren’t necessary on our part for you to understand what lies within our hearts.
Abba, you know all that concerns us, our friends, and loved ones…all that brings us to our knees before you. There is just so much to pray about…you know…before we speak a word, you know…and so we ask right now that you help us be still before you so we can hear what you might speak to us…so you can calm all that is stirred up within us and draw us into your peace.
Please have your will and way as we commit ourselves, our friends, and our families to your hands. We know you are The Great Physician…you can do what no doctor can do. You are The Healer and Comforter we turn to for our friends and family who are grieving. You are The Light we search for when so many are facing dark nights of the soul. You are The Counselor whose wisdom we seek when answers and hope seem illusive. You are The Burden-Bearer we bow before and ask you to take what is too much for us to carry. We come as empty vessels before you, our El Shaddai, and ask you to fill us with your peace, comfort, strength, and joy.
Some days are harder than others…some days, there are so many sad things piled on each other all we can do is just fall into your arms and ask you to be our shelter from the storm. Thank you for being with us in good times and bad. We want what you think is best, Father…we know what we think is best and needed from our vantage point, but you see what we don’t, so we just ask you to do what is best for us, our families, and friends…may your will be done. We know you love those we care for even more than we do. We commit everything and everyone to your hands.
Thank you for your grace and strength that sustains us. Many days it feels like we take two steps forward and three back, but we know as we look to you, you will lead us beside still waters and restore our souls. We thank you for your grace and mercy and for all you do and give. Thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
Blessings be upon you and those you love, friends!
