Daily Prayer For March 6, 2023

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today as we gather, we lift up to you all who are struggling to get through their days…all who wake up intending to accomplish many things but are unable to…all who are dealing with brain fog…everyone who feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day, and there is little to show for their efforts.
You know, Abba, grief, stress, depression, and illness take their toll on us emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. All those things also impact our sleep, which worsens everything. So many are trying to get out of the pit they are in, but nothing is helping, and they don’t know what else to do. They are just so tired…
Father, please help all who feel like they take one step forward and two steps back. Please touch everyone who feels like they are just treading water and can’t seem to reach the shore. Please, hear our cries for your divine intervention. King David said he waited patiently on you, and you listened to his cry. You lifted him up out of a pit and miry clay. You set his feet on solid rock and steadied him on the path you set before him. You gave him a new song to sing…a song of praise to you.
Abba, would you do what you did for David for all who are reading this? Would you deliver, rescue, restore and renew all who have been going through the motions of living but are just existing? You tell us we have not because we ask not, so we are asking now, Lord. We reach out for the hem of your garment so we might experience the healing only you can give. Please help those who are weary, ill, depressed, or grief-stricken to rise from pits of mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion and help them sing a new song…a song of praise…a song of deliverance…a song that declares your goodness, faithfulness, grace, kindness, and mercy.
Father, we don’t always see a way out, a way around, or a light at the end of the tunnel, but we know you see what we can’t see. You can make a way through. You can make a way where there seems to be no way. Nothing is impossible for you. You are The Way, The Truth, The Light…the dark is not dark to you. You know the way we should go, so we ask for your help to get us to where ever we need to be. We may not all be dealing with the same things, but we know that you are the answer to each of our prayers, and we need you more than the air we need to breathe. We bow before you with humble hearts and thank you in advance for all you will do. In the name of our Savior, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
