Daily Prayer For July 3, 2022
Thu Jul 07, 2022 3:23 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today we lift up everyone who has a hard time on the weekend. You see all who are missing loved ones and those who feel left out, isolated, or alone. You know, for some, weekends are a painful reminder of their financial struggles. For many who are ill or disabled…for caregivers…for those who don’t get much time off, the days all blur together…they don’t have much to look forward to…weekends are not a time of rest, relaxation, or enjoyment. Their responsibilities don’t allow for downtime. You are aware of each situation and know each person by name who is struggling with sadness, loneliness, fatigue, illness, financial problems, and being overworked and overburdened.
Please rain down your comfort, peace, grace, and mercy and meet the needs of all who are hurting today. Please open doors and your storehouses to meet their needs. We pray they will see your goodness in the land of the living.
We ask Holy Spirit to help us focus on all we have to be thankful for instead of what we lack. Help us tune out anything that makes us feel like we are missing out if we don’t have the same things or experiences as others. From a young age, we are bombarded with images and stories of “the good life” and “happily ever after.” We think that is how life should be for all of us. The truth is, our perceptions and what the media portrays are not the reality for most people.
Please help us find peace and contentment in you. Please help us find your joy amid our hard days. We think of the apostles singing your praises while chained in prison…help us find that place of praise and joy, simply because we are yours and you are ours, and we have a Risen Savior who loves us with an everlasting love.
Father, please help us rise like phoenixes from the hard places we are in. Please help us feel an overwhelming sense of your comfort, joy, and nearness today. We know you inhabit the praises of your people, and so we worship you now. We praise you for who you are, The Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and End. The Creator of All and our beloved Abba Father. Thank you for our blessings. Thank you for all that is right in our lives. Thank you for all you do and all that is to come. We love you, and we commit this day and weekend to you. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
May His joy be your strength and His peace fill your hearts, friends!
