Daily Prayer For July 8 2022
Thu Jul 28, 2022 4:44 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
While your children wandered in the wilderness, they had your presence with them as a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day. When they were on the verge of seeing the promised land, you told them that your presence would not go with them because of their persistent stubbornness and lack of faith. Your people were devastated at the thought of losing your presence. Your presence meant so much to Moses that He would rather be in the wilderness with you than in the promised land without you. Oh, Father, may we long for your presence more than anything else. In your presence, fear, anxiety, and worry cannot exist. In your presence, we find the peace, rest, and joy we long for. We pray our hearts will be so transformed that we will want you, more than anything we can get from you. We want our hearts to be right before you, Father. Please help us learn to walk in your ways and live our lives in a way that is pleasing to you.
Please help us see you and hear you above all others. Please keep us on the straight and narrow path and close to you. It is a blessing and comfort to know that You, The Great I Am, never sleeps or slumbers, and you are concerned about all that concerns us. We are grateful we can sleep in peace because you are awake, and we are under your watchful eye and constant protection.
Thank you for seeing us through this week. Please revive and restore us and help us find the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical rest we need tonight as we sleep. We thank you in advance for all you will do. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the name of our Savior, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
May you find peaceful rest in Him, friends!
