Daily Prayer For May 21, 2019
Thu May 23, 2019 7:24 am
Hello, Friends! I’m feeling led to repost this today…
Our Father,
We are grateful that we don’t walk alone on dark roads or on gray stormy days…we are grateful that we don’t have to carry our burdens or deal with any difficult situations by ourselves…you tell us to surrender our pain, hurts, and the broken pieces of our hearts and lives so you can do what we can’t…what a blessed Savior we have who took the weight of our sins and suffering upon Himself…not just once at the cross, but for every day of our lives.
Father, no matter what is going on in our lives today …regardless of what is to come in the days ahead… may we remember the cross and the empty tomb…may we remember that you don’t always give us answers, but you always give us yourself …you may seem silent at times, but you are always present…we don’t have to wonder where you are, because you have promised to be with us and to never leave or forsake us …
One day we will see with new eyes and with a complete understanding of what you have been doing behind the scenes in our lives to protect us…to intervene on our behalf…to defend us and advocate for us. One day we will see how we have been surrounded by your angel armies…we will understand with a new awareness of how the things you allowed to touch our lives actually sheltered and protected us from even more harm and devastating adversity than we could imagine. One day we will see with spiritual eyes what is going on in the spirit realm that surrounds us. One day we will be filled with gratitude instead of questions, as we finally understand what our minds can’t begin to comprehend now.
Please lead and guide us on the narrow path that leads to you. May we not be led astray by false teaching, temptation or bad influences. Help us to hear and know your voice. Please remove anything from our lives that would hinder our walk with you. Thank you for your compassion, grace, patience, mercy, and strength. We are grateful for all you sacrificed for us that we might be redeemed. We are grateful for all you give us every day. May we live with an attitude of gratitude and with your joy in our hearts. We give you praise, glory, and honor as we pray in the name of our risen Messiah, Jesus. Amen
May you find healing, comfort and rest in the arms of Jesus today!
