Daily Prayer For May 19, 2019

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Lord,

Please help us to cling to you and look to you as we go about our day. Help us to remember that you have not given us a spirit of fear or timidity, but of power, love, self- control and discipline. Help us to take our thoughts captive and to think on things that build up, encourage and point the way to you. Help us to remember that You have gone before us. Your power is in us. Your angels surround us. You give us the words to say when needed, and your wisdom when we ask. May we take comfort and be at rest as we see your strength perfected in our weakness.

Help us not to get caught up in foolish arguments and divisions…help us not to waste our time or energy on things that have no lasting value…help us to be mindful that our enemy looks for our weak areas…our areas of vulnerability…if he can’t get us to slip up, he will do his best to distract us and keep us caught up and busy doing things that are not of you. Please help us to do better and be better in every area of our lives. Help us so to be wise and discerning in all that we think, say and do.

We surrender ourselves to you and ask you to forgive us of our sins. May your Spirit to fall afresh on us. Please breathe new life and renewed energy into us. Refresh us with your Living Water and fill us with your peace. May we be a source of blessings, encouragement, kindness, compassion, and love to those around us. Help us to be tuned into your voice and sensitive to the needs of those around us. Thank you for blessing us more than we deserve. We are so grateful. We thank you and praise you and ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
