I know what you mean, the same thing happened to me when married them a while back (I wasn't happy with how it messed up that game so I deleted it and started working on other Sims 4 projects). Just another thing that is messed up in the Sims 4. All in all, you can't have more than one formal and you must make sure all their clothing is laundered (or remove washer/dryer and hampers from your sim's lot) if you have laundry day or they will wear something random (and usually something ugly   ). Even then, there is no guarantee that the game will work like it should (Give me a Sims 2 wedding any day!). Unless your sim has friends/acquaintances who are skilled in what you are needing that they can hire, the game will just offer a dumb and lazy sim to mess your parties up. But it looks like you made the best of it and their wedding was still a nice one despite. Looks like every sim still had a good time.  And it looks like Cinda was about to drop it like it's hot in that one pic - that saucy sim!
