Why Isn't The Sims 2 on Origin? EA Bring it Back!

What? That just doesn't make sense. Once it is in your library, it stays there. I thought that we discovered the problem with your game was that you didn't know your way around [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to run The Sims 2 on it... also previously you were trying to load an old game save that was from Double Deluxe onto UC, which we found doesn't work because they are two different formats of the game and well, you know, EA isn't going to fix any issues with any of their games. They haven't blocked access to TS2UC in anyone's library; they would just remove the game from your library entirely if they didn't want people to play it. As I recall, you were getting frustrated about not being able to find/access things on W10 and decided to deal with it another time.

Cindy is right; if EA weren't so selfish, would fix Sims 2 so we wouldn't have to use the 4 Gig Patch at all but they don't want to take away sales from their dying Sims 4 disaster.  

They can do it for Sims 2 too because they did it for games that are older than the hills - but they won't because of their greed...

Wow, that was really sneaky of them... I remember at one time you said they had put UC and Double Deluxe in your library. If you ever decide you want Sims 2 UC back though, now that it is actually abandonware, you can still legally download it.

I understand about not being interested in the game; I was like that for a few years. I took a long break to enjoy other things, but I came back to my true love, The Sims. If you're playing the Sims 4 exclusively, then there's not much to go back to. I am completely done with the Sims 4, as well as many other simmers. It's disgusting what EA has done to the Sims franchise...

I've really gotten into the Sims 3 the past several months thanks to PleasantSim's Sims 3 Pleasantview re-creation. They did a really good job on it all, except some of the sims I wasn't quite happy with so I set out to make my own version of Pleasantview's sims and I was very pleased how they turned out! I've been having a lot of fun with it and learning my way around the Sims 3 along the way. I will have to share some pics of the sims I recreated; I worked hard on them and some of them are actual ringers and are quite good if I do say so myself!  

I also downloaded a re-creation of Sunset Valley and Four Corners (The Sims Lifestories) recreated for the Sims 2 and started playing it this morning... I recently tried to re-install Lifestories on my PC but but my laptop just wouldn't recognize the disc, so I was glad to have found the re-created for the Sims 2. I remember the challenge of Four Corners back in the day when it came out, so this recreation is bringing back memories!
