Daily Prayer For January 3, 2018

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Our Father,

Today, we pray for ears to hear and eyes to see you, our Problem Solver, instead of our problems…too often we reach out to accept your peace and to give everything over to you and then we quickly lose focus and are once again dwelling on our circumstances instead of You…help us to be consistently growing in your knowledge and grace..we are told a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways…help us help us to remember your faithfulness and the lessons we have learned in the past…help us to be confident and bold in our faith and in how we live our lives…help us to remember we are not powerless, we are not defenseless, we are not without hope…we are held, we are loved, we are called and we are more than over-comers through Christ.

Father, we pray for your strength, power, and Holy Spirit to rise up within us. Help us not be sidelined by those who would come against us. Help us not to be afraid of men’s words or actions… When we have needs, help us to trust that you are faithful to provide…help us to remember that you have a very long track record of providing for your children. Help us dwell on who you are and all you’ve done… help us to remember it is your sufficiency, not ours that assures us of victory…Help us to let go of emotions and memories that keep us tied to things that do us no good.

Please touch us and fill us, as only you can. Help us to heal. Help us to have a healthy attitude and mindset in all things. Help us to let go of our plans and may your will be done in our lives. Help us to wait patiently as you work to bring about your will. Father, we give our lives to you and commit all that we are and all that we hope to be in your hands. We thank you in advance and look forward to all you will do in us, through us and for us. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen
