Daily Prayer For February 11, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Our Father,
Some days it’s hard to know where to begin when praying to you. There are so many needs, we could pray for hours and still not cover them all…but you already know the needs…and so it just feels right to thank you for another day of life…to thank you for our blessings…to thank you for all that is right in our lives and world, even when so many things are wrong. We are so thankful that you gave us Jesus and saved us… We are comforted to know that there is nowhere we can go that you will not be with us… we are thankful that you are watching over each of us…we are thankful that your ear is attentive to us, your eye is upon us and your thoughts towards us are infinite…we praise you our Abba Father for your goodness.
Father, may your peace consume us today and every day…you are Jehovah Shalom, “The Lord is Peace”…you don’t just give us peace…you give us yourself…that is why your peace is different from what the world gives…that is why the world can’t take your peace away…You are Peace itself …and you live in us … many people search for peace and it alludes them because they don’t look to you…nothing can fill us like you can… you tell us to come to you and you will give us freely…you tell us what things we need to fix our thoughts on so we can have your peace…help us to do that Lord…help us to shut down any thoughts, any actions or activities that will draw us away from you, our source of peace… please fill us with your Spirit, Father… We thank you that we can run to the shelter of your arms and know that we are safe, loved and cherished and you will never deny us or turn us away.
Father, for each need…spoken and unspoken, we lift them to you and we lay them on your altar… we trust you for the answers and provision that are already on their way… Please forgive us of our sins, Father. Cleanse us and purify us and renew a right spirit within us that we might serve you gladly and with hearts full of thanksgiving. We love you Lord and we ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
May God’s face shine upon you today!
