Daily Prayer For February 7, 2017
Tue Feb 07, 2017 1:08 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for this new day. We are grateful to know that when we wake up, you are still with us…we look forward to spending this day with you…we are so thankful that no matter who or what comes or goes, you are still on the throne and fully in control…you never tire or grow weary and nothing is too hard for you… we thank you that today is a new day…we are grateful for the possibilities this day holds… we thank you that we can walk in freedom and that we are more than our mistakes of the past…more than our sins, shortcomings or failures…we are new creatures in Christ and though our outer man is fading away, our inner man is being renewed each day… we thank you that as far as the east is to the west, you have removed our sins and you lead us in triumph through Christ…
We praise you Lord, our Redeemer, because you alone can renew, redeem, restore and bring life from death. You can make an old couple like Abraham and Sarah have a child in their 90’s. You can take someone like Paul, who hated Christians and turn him into one of your most faithful followers. We can never be too far gone, too broken or too unworthy to find restoration and redemption through you. You’ve used prostitutes and children, poor widows and donkeys, a few fish and loaves of bread to serve your purposes. Lord, forgive our doubts and unbelief when we think that you won’t answer or fulfill your promises. You have said that you will not ever break your covenant or alter a word that has been uttered from your lips…we pray that we will become more and more like Jesus so faith and trust will become our first response to any situation.
Lord, we submit ourselves to your will. We ask for your spirit to fill us. We believe you are who you say you are. We bow down before you and ask to receive…like the blind, the lame, the diseased and the outcasts that begged for your mercy and found a touch from your hand. We ask, believing, that what you did then, you will do now… all it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed and a life that is yielded to you for miracles to happen. May we be living witnesses to your power. Come, Lord, come… move among us we pray, in Jesus’ name…we ask…we believe… and we receive… with humble and grateful hearts. Amen
Believing with you for miracles friends!
