Daily Prayer For November 10, 2016
Fri Nov 11, 2016 10:33 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
You tell us often in your Word to not be afraid. We know our adversary prowls around looking for a foothold and opportunity to come against us. He wants us to cower in fear and feel like we are powerless. Lord, help us to be courageous. Help us to remember all the examples in the Bible of people who faced the challenges in their lives head on. We think of young David, who battled a lion and a bear to protect his sheep and then conquered Goliath. He was not reckless, but He knew that you were the Lion Of Judah. He knew Your power and strength. He didn’t have to know how powerful and strong his adversaries were because He knew how powerful YOU were.
We think of so many others who were fearless even in the face of death because they believed you were who you said you were and they trusted in you and your promises. Lord, we ask that you would give us courage and holy boldness. Help us to slay once and for all anything that cause us to live in fear or shrink back in any way…help us get rid of any emotions that hold us hostage…any bad experiences, memories or hurtful words, guilt, addictions, sins, or negative self-talk that we have been unsuccessful in overcoming…
Lord, may we face this day fully confident in your power and strength that is flowing through us so we can walk in the victory that you bought for us…you don’t want us to struggle on our own… you have given us all we need to be victorious…may we walk in faith and not fear…may we let go of the things we can’t change…may we learn to accept that there are things we will never know this side of heaven and quit searching for answers that will never come…please take all the things that are frustrating to us…all the things that are causing us pain…all the bitterness, anger and unforgiveness that eats away at us like a cancer…help us to be free, Lord…help us to step out of the darkness and shadows and into the glorious light where we can fully appreciate the liberty, peace and freedom we have in you.
Lord, please touch each person reading this…you know the hidden things…the heavy things…the things that keep them tossing and turning at night…help them to lay everything on your altar at this very moment. May they feel release and a sense of serenity and peace wash over them. May they feel your joy and cleansing power wash over them and may they be truly redeemed by the blood of The Lamb. Help us to remember whose we are and may that be a reason to celebrate this day. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen
Blessings to you friends!
