Daily Prayer For October 2, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today and lift up all who are “stuck” or “in a rut” in any area of their lives. Lord, we ask that you would show us how to live in the moment… please give us your wisdom so we know how to move forward from where we are…so we know what changes to make…so we know what doors to close behind us…lead us to the resources, wisdom and knowledge we need… we ask you for the courage to walk through the hard places we find ourselves in…help us to be fearless in the face of change and uncertainty…help us to have bold faith…help us to be strong warriors instead of worriers…help us to walk in the fullness of your joy…may we live the things we say we believe and may we come to know you in ways we didn’t even know were possible…
Lord, if we look back, we can see your faithfulness…we can see all you have brought us through…we can see how far we have come…help us to not lose sight of the many victories we’ve had to get where we are today… you are The Good Shepherd and you will faithfully lead, guide and protect us through all that we must deal with. You tell us you will restore us to a place where our cups will run over… you will lead us to the still waters where we become refreshed, revived and restored. You keep your promises. Lord, may we cling to your truth.
Many are fearful of the place they find themselves in now. They don’t want to accept the things that have happened, but as long as we refuse to face our circumstances head on, we will be unable to move forward. Help us not to waste our lives on the “what if’s” and the “if only’s”…may our question be, “what now, Lord…lead me from here”
Lord, for all who have tried to move forward, yet find themselves in a place of discouragement, we ask that you would encourage them today. Show them signs of your nearness and that your hand is upon them. Your timing is rarely ours…but your timing is always perfect… you want only the best for us…help us not to settle, Lord…help us to grow in our faith and trust of you so we will be willing to follow you on the rough roads, uncharted paths, and through the dark valleys…you will never lead us anywhere that your grace won’t sustain us…you will equip us for all you’ve called us for… Lord, please pour out your comfort and grace…meet each need as only you can. We thank you for your patience, provision and protection. Please go before us this day. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
