Daily Prayer For October 16, 2016

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the healing you offer us in every area of our lives…we are grateful that you can take all the hurtful things from our pasts and transform our wounds…

Lord, if there is anyone reading this and their past is holding them back from living the best life they can live, we ask for your healing touch to be upon them…if there has been abuse, hurtful words, mistreatment, abandonment, broken relationships…anything that impacts them in ways they may not even be aware of…please give them insight, help and resources that will enable them to heal and live a life free from these things…if there is anything that causes them to hold back or not engage with people for fear of more hurt or pain… please give them your wisdom and help them to find ways to cope and heal so they won’t continue to pay the price for what others have done…if anyone is dealing with PTSD, anxiety disorders, stress related disorders or health issues that are a result of all they have been through…we ask that you would do what no doctor can do…we ask for your grace, love and mercy and healing touch to be upon each one…you are bigger than our enemy and anything that he throws at us…Father, please bring restoration and renewed life…

Help us to overcome…help us to be victorious over the things that stumble and hinder us…may anyone who has just given up…anyone who is just existing…anyone who thinks that things can’t improve or get better…Lord, you see each need…please open doors…please bring people who will speak life into each weary heart…may every person who feel alone to find you in ways they have never known you…please bring compassionate, kind, understanding people to speak love and bring encouragement…so many don’t know where to turn for help…may they find you and the answers and provision they need…replace their discouragement, Father with joyful anticipation…heal the broken places…help us to dare to dream…to have faith that trusts beyond what is seen…may your joy be our strength…may your peace be like a river flowing through us…may your Living Water bubble up and turn the barren dry places in our hearts into lush fertile fields where your Word can grow deep roots that transform our lives…help us to do all that we can do to help ourselves and then help us to rest in your arms and be still before you that we might learn from you and be renewed in body, mind and spirit…we are weak, but you are strong…you take all that was dirty, bloodied and battered and turn it white as snow…you are the God of miracles and there are many reading this who need miracles that only you can provide…we bow before you with humble hearts, we ask for forgiveness from our sins and we thank you in advance for all you will do. We thank you that we can ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen
