Daily Prayer For February 26, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being all we need…for being the answer to every prayer…for being our provider, hope, and ever-present source of help and strength.
Father, please help us remember we are not meant to find sufficiency in ourselves or our abilities…we are not meant to trust in ourselves, the government, or anyone or anything but you. Often, we feel like failures…like we’re not good enough…that we can’t measure up to our own expectations or the expectations of others…that things aren’t fair…that things are too hard… When we have done our best, but it doesn’t feel good enough, please help us remember your words and truth.
Please help us learn to be content with doing our best, to pray and seek your face, and then trust you and your plans…to trust you and your timing…to trust that we are where we are meant to be…to trust that delays are not denials…to trust that at the right time, you will open doors no man can open or close…trust that you can make roadways in the wilderness, streams in the desert, make a way where there seems to be no way…trust that if we can’t see a way out or a way around, you can make a way through. Please help us have your perspective and see things through your eyes. Please help us measure ourselves, our circumstances, and others against what you have to say and nothing else.
We thank you for your promise to provide all we need. We thank you for your assurance that your angels are encamped about those who fear you. We are grateful that there is more to life than what we see with our physical eyes…that we are never alone…never forsaken…never forgotten…never without all we need because you have promised…that You, THE ONE who promises, are faithful. We are grateful to have you as our Shepherd who looks after us, and all that concerns us. Thank you for being our stability, sanctuary, and solid rock we can stand on when everything around us feels like shifting sand. Thank you for Holy Spirit, who comforts us in all our afflictions.
Thank you for all the times you have intervened on our behalf, and we were unaware. Thank you for your divine presence that is with us as well as the protection from your angel armies that surround us. Thank you for all you do for us. Please help us rest and be still before you as we wait on you. In the name of our Savior, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
