Daily Prayer For February 25, 2023
Tue Mar 07, 2023 3:26 pm
Hello, Friends! I feel led to repost this prayer today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for Jesus…our Savior, hope, Messiah, Deliverer, Prince of Peace, Redeemer…The Way, The Truth, The Life and Light of the World who will one day make all things right and new.
We are so grateful that one day we will be set free from the pain and darkness in this world. Though we don’t always see or understand everything, there is one thing we can see so very clearly…your love for us and the great lengths you have gone to prove that love. We know you loved the world so much that you gave your only Son to live, suffer, and die to bear the weight and shame of our sins. Jesus paid a price that we couldn’t pay to redeem us and make a way for us so that by grace, we can be saved through faith in Him.
That is the truth we stand on today…that is the light that shines brightly in the darkness…that is the hope we cling to amid chaotic and uncertain times. The hope we have is the same hope that drove the wise men to follow a bright and shining star to find a special child…a Deliverer…a promised King and Messiah…a baby who was deemed a threat by evil men and born with a price on his head…a baby who grew into a man who was well acquainted with grief, sorrow, and pain…a Savior who will one day wipe away every tear from our eyes and will say once again, ”It is finished…No More!!” No more sin, no more pain, no more death, no more poverty, no more loss, no more hunger or sickness, no more disease, no more evil, no more tears, no more being separated from Him! In one instant, the suffering of this life will vanish as we are embraced by the nail-scarred hands of The One who sacrificed so much for us so we can live eternally with you.
Abba Father, may the hurting find comfort and hope today in who you are, all you’ve done, and all you promise to do. We pray the lost will seek you, find you, and come to the glorious realization that you are who you say you are. Thank you for your mercy and forgiveness. Thank you for your compassion and great love for us. Thank you for your grace that will see us through this day and all the days to come until you call us home. In the precious name of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus, we ask these things. Amen.
May the hope of Christ fill your heart today!
