Daily Prayer For February 12, 2023

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for waking us to see this new day. As we gather together to pray, we lift to you all who are struggling this weekend. Please pour out your comfort and grace upon each hurting heart.
We are grateful we can grieve with hope. We are thankful there is coming a day when we will never have to say goodbye to anyone we love again…that there is coming a time when we won’t have to deal with loneliness, sadness, illness, or any of the things that cause us pain. You tell us to encourage each other…to remember your past deeds…to remind ourselves and others of all Jesus taught us…The Bible tells us to meditate on your Word night and day. You knew we would face hard times. You knew we would need something to cling to when we feel like we are drowning under the weight of our emotions, struggles, and losses. Please help us keep our eyes fixed on the eternal truth of who you are and all you say. We are so grateful you don’t offer empty promises or platitudes. You give us more and more of yourself, and therein lies the greatest gift that comes from our struggles…a closer, more intimate relationship with you. Thank you for being the one constant we can always count on. Thank you for being an attentive Father who anticipates our needs. We are grateful for how you care for us and lavish your love upon us. Thank you for the shelter, safety, and refuge we find in you. Thank you for everything you give us that we can’t find in anyone or anything else.
Abba Father, please bless everyone who is praying this prayer. May your favor be upon them. May they see signs of your nearness and be filled with your comfort, peace, and joy. We commit this day to you. We give you all we are and thank you for all that is to come. We rejoice in you and this day you have made. Most of all, we thank you for our Savior, Jesus. In His name, we pray. Amen.
