Daily Prayer For February 7, 2023

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you with heavy hearts and lift in prayer the people in Turkey and Syria who are dealing with such devastation from the continuing earthquakes they are dealing with. We pray for all who are trapped under rubble…we ask that you would help the responders and rescuers who are working under such difficult and perilous conditions…we pray that the rescuers and those who are trapped will feel your presence with them. We pray for those who have lost loved ones…for the injured…for the medical personnel…for all who have lost their homes and communities…for all who are searching for loved ones…there are more needs than we have time to mention. Still, you see them all…you know each person in need…and Father, you know the weather conditions are so cold there, and people are without clothes, shoes, food, water, shelter, warmth…there are so many needs on such a massive scale…
Father, we can’t begin to imagine the loss, pain, fear, anxiety, terror, and grief that the people of these countries are dealing with. Our hearts are moved with compassion as we see the devastating images of loss and destruction…we grieve with those who grieve…our hearts hurt for the thousands and thousands who are hurting at this moment, and we cry out to you on their behalf. We pray people will find you amid this horrible tragedy…that they will come to see and know you for who you are… the God of Compassion and Comfort…The Hope of the World…The One who can do all things…The Way, The Truth, and The Life. You are the Savior, Healer, and Provider everyone in this world needs. Only you can bring life from death, good from bad, and redeem all that the enemy has meant for harm…
We stand in the gap for those who are too shocked, grief-stricken, and overwhelmed to even have words to pray. We stand on your promises and believe for them that you will show yourself to all who call on you in truth…that you will provide…that you will restore all that the enemy has taken…that you will be with and help everyone who looks to you as their source of help and strength…that you will make a way to get through what right now, seems overwhelmingly hard to even begin to comprehend.
Abba, there is so much we are helpless to do, but we know you are the God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for you. We thank you in advance for all you will do to show yourself strong amid all these things. We ask these things in the name of our Savior and Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
