Daily Prayer For February 6, 2023
Mon Feb 06, 2023 2:11 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day and another opportunity to pray together. Abba, you have a view that no one else has for all the sad, hard, and tragic things happening today. We cry out to you on behalf of each person who needs your help, strength, wisdom, knowledge, provision, and comfort. You alone know what is needed in each difficult situation. We look to you, our Sovereign Lord, who holds all creation in your hands, to help all who need your divine intervention.
Words may fail us, and people may fail us, but we know you never fail. We know where our help comes from, so we come to you with all that concerns us, our world, and those we love. The Bible says you are a victorious warrior who sings over us with joy, and you calm us with your love. You are the God of angel armies who fights for us and protects us. Please work mightily in the midst of those who are dealing with disasters, tragedies, and losses. May people see your light shining in the darkness and find the comfort, salvation, restoration, and hope that only you can give.
Thank you for defeating death and taking on the weight of our struggles, pain, illnesses, infirmities, and sins. We are grateful you promise you are with us all of our days, and you stick closer than a brother. We are thankful you see what is obscured from our earthly view, and you have a plan to counter every scheme from the pit of h**l that tries to destroy hope and life and separate us from you. We rejoice and take comfort knowing you have made a way to part the veil so your light can pierce the darkness…so beauty can rise from the ashes…so you can set the captives free…so you turn our mourning into dancing, and so new life can spring forth from desolate places.
We love you, Lord. We are grateful these hard times are the dark before dawn, and our best days are still ahead. Please help us live, love, and serve you well this week. It’s in the name of our Savior Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
May you feel His comfort, peace, and nearness, friends!
