Daily Prayer For May 31, 2022
Fri Jun 24, 2022 2:43 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the blessing of seeing another day and the opportunity to gather again in prayer. Your Word says whoever listens to you will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. You tell us to call to you, and you will answer and tell us great and mighty things we don’t yet know. You tell us if we lack wisdom, we should ask you, and you will give it generously. We are told, as a believer, that we are given the mind of Christ so we can be transformed in our thinking and gain wisdom and understanding to know your will. Abba Father, please keep us close to you and speak to us, so we understand all you want us to know.
We’re told if we accept your words, store up your commands, call out for insight, cry aloud for understanding, and search for it as though we’re looking for hidden treasure, then we will find your knowledge, and you will grant a treasure of common sense to the honest. You say you are a shield to those who walk with integrity. You guard the paths of the just and protect those who are faithful to you, so we will understand what is right, just, and fair…so, we will find the right way to go, and your knowledge will fill us with joy. You tell us wise choices will watch over us, and understanding will keep us safe…that wisdom will save us from evil people and those whose words are twisted and evil. Your Word is full of comfort and hope…thank you for all you’ve done to support, protect, instruct, and guide us.
You tell us not to forget your commands, for they bring us peace and prosperity. Please help us not to be wise in our own eyes. Please help us avoid the traps the enemy would use to ensnare us. Please help us do all you’ve instructed us to do. We want to please you, serve you well, and be a valuable source of your wisdom, truth, and knowledge for those we love and care for. Please work in us and through us, Father. We are grateful for you and the many ways you bless our lives. Thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we ask these things. Amen.
May your heart be at peace this day, friends!
