Daily Prayer For May 23, 2022
Fri Jun 24, 2022 2:17 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word assures us you hear the cries of the distressed. You see when people are oppressed and mistreated. You are aware of our suffering and pain, and you are The Mighty One who saves. You tell us you are our refuge, strength, and a real and present source of help in times of trouble. You hide us in the secret place of your presence. We’re told the righteous will find you to be a strong tower when we run to you. You are a defense for the helpless. A place of safety for the needy in distress. A refuge from the storm and a shade from the heat. You are our rock, fortress, shield, and stronghold.
Abba, we acknowledge all you are and all you do. There is none like you. We are grateful you stand as our Defender, Deliverer, and Advocate. You are El Roi, The God who sees, and we know you see us and all the oppressive forces at work in our world and lives. We join our voices together today, and we ask that you would reach down and protect us, save us and deliver us. There is so much going on that can only be changed by your divine intervention. You see and know all that is in the hearts of men. You know the truth from lies. You know the schemes and snares of men and our adversary. You know all who conspire against you and us. We know your arm is not shortened that it cannot save. We know no one is beyond your reach. No one can stand against your power, will, or might. We look to you, our merciful Father, The One who sustains us and holds us in your hands. Please do what we cannot.
Father, we cast our cares on you and ask you, our Sar Shalom, to fill us with the peace that only you can give. Please forgive us of our sins and renew a right spirit within us. If there is anything in our lives hindering our prayers, please show us that we might repent and be right before you.
We thank you and praise you for all you do to show your love and care for us. We are grateful we come to you in the name of our precious Savior Jesus, and not one word of yours will return void. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
May His favor, peace, and blessings be upon you, friends!
