Daily Prayer For May 21, 2022

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being with us in all we face. Thank you for your grace that sustains us and your strength that replaces our weakness. Father, you know better than anyone that grief and times of emotional upset are not just emotionally and mentally taxing but physically demanding and draining also. Today we pray for all who are finding it hard to regain their strength, energy, and stamina after going through trials and losses. It can be frustrating when we have things to do and don’t have the energy to do them. It can feel overwhelming when we know we need to rest, but there are demands and commitments we must meet.
Please give each person in need the motivation and determination to do all they can to help themselves, and then we ask you to do what is beyond us. Please renew and replenish our emotional, mental, and physical reserves. Please renew our strength and help us mount up with wings like eagles as we wait on you and your timing. Please help us show the same grace and understanding to ourselves that we would offer to others in their times of need.
It can be discouraging when we feel like we are making progress and starting to move forward and suddenly feel like we are taking steps backward. We know this is a natural part of the grieving process, but it is still hard. Please help us picture you holding us, comforting us, and watching over us as we process and work through the changes and challenges we face. We are grateful that when we come to the end of our reserves, we find yours, and when we feel like we can’t take another step, you carry us.
You tell us to ask, seek, and knock, so we are asking you to heal us in every way we need healing, Abba. We ask the same for our friends and loved ones dealing with the same things. Please do for us what we can’t do for ourselves. Please help us find rest and shelter in your arms at this moment. May your peace fill our hearts and your joy be our strength. Thank you for all you have done to carry us to this point and for the restoration and renewal that is coming. We are grateful for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we ask these things. Amen.
May you feel the Lord’s comfort and nearness, friends!
