Daily Prayer For May 3, 2022
Wed Jun 22, 2022 2:34 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
We pray for all who are feeling stressed today. Please ease their tension. Smooth the rough roads before them. May they feel your peace engulf them, and may they find respite and relief from their troubles and trials. Too often, we struggle with unrealistic expectations. We think we should be able to multi-task and “do it all” and keep the same pace we always did, but it’s not always possible during times of illness, grief, and adversity. Please help us do our best and trust what we can’t do to your hands. Please help us cope well with all that is on our plates.
Sometimes you allow things to happen, so we will slow down and see things through your eyes…so we will have time to spend with you…so we will stop and hear your voice. Please help us see things from your perspective. Please help us weed out the things that are not vital during difficult times and learn to trust you in the seasons and places you’ve placed us. Please help us with our busy schedules and to-do lists…help us keep our priorities straight and find time to take care of ourselves the way we should. Please help us find balance in all things. Help us learn to show the same grace to ourselves that we would offer to others.
Please help us order our days and schedules so we find time to read your word and spend time alone with you in prayer so we can recharge and de-stress. Please lead us to the perfect soothing and calming words from you. We ask for your wisdom and discernment for the answers, guidance, and understanding we seek. Please help us refocus and realign our hearts with yours.
Please bless all who are reading this prayer and their loved ones. May your favor be upon them, and your grace sustain them. We thank you for being our Lord and Savior and our faithful companion. Life isn’t always easy, but we know it would be infinitely harder without your help. We are grateful for all you do for us, Lord. With gratitude, we thank you for hearing our prayers and walking with us this day in all we face. We commit this day to you and all that’s in it. Thank you for our Savior Jesus, in whose name we ask these things. Amen.
Blessings be upon you, friends!
