Daily Prayer For April 26, 2022
Wed Jun 22, 2022 2:12 pm
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this new day and keeping us safe through the night. As we go about our day, help us be mindful that you have equipped us for all we face. Please help us get in the habit of mentally putting on our spiritual armor and preparing in prayer before getting out of bed each morning. Please help us train our minds and equip ourselves with all you’ve provided us to fight well against the enemy’s attacks and live in spiritual victory each day.
Please help us stand firm on the truth of Your Word so nothing can shake us. It feels more and more like our lives and world are crumbling around us. Help us remember that no matter what it feels like, we are anchored on the solid rock of Christ, and we are held safely in your hands. Please help us grow impervious to the enemy’s lies, distortions, deceptions, and discouragement.
Please help us guard our hearts against evil and help us live righteously. Help us be free of pride and selfish desires. Please help us be holy as you are holy, and lead and guide us in your ways, so we grow to be more like Jesus with each passing day.
We ask for your help to protect our minds so the enemy will gain no strongholds there. Please help us keep our thoughts focused on you and all you’ve instructed us to do. Help us think about things that are true, pure, and lovely so we will have your peace. Help us remember to use all you have entrusted to us so we won’t be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.
Father, help us see ourselves as you see us, so we live as warriors and not worriers. Help us view what happens to us in light of who you are and whose we are. We are grateful to be children of the Most High God and heirs to your kingdom. There is so much that comes against us. We often grow weary of life’s battles…we long for peace and rest. We know you understand. Please help us rise above all we face and keep pressing on in your power and might until you call us home.
Thank you for your promises to be our strength and a shield about us. Thank you for being our refuge, fortress, and our place of safety and rest. We are grateful we do not fight alone, and the battle is already won. We commit this day to you and all that’s in it. Thank you in advance for all you will do for us and through us. It’s in the mighty name of Jesus that we ask these things. Amen.
Blessings be upon you, friends.
