A little Simming Community gossip for you!

Yesterday, on Twitter and Instagram, James (James Turner/Semaj) and Madeline (Deligracy/Deli), revealed to the Simming Community that they are indeed now together! From all the vague hints they had been dropping the last several months, it was revealed that the "guest" that Deli had been hosting during the Covid-19 lockdown was indeed James. They have been good friends for years and when Deli had broken up with her former boyfriend early last year, he was a source of encouragement and consolation to her. It's suspected when Jame's roommate and very close friend, Twitch streamer KryticZeuz, moved to Texas to live with his new girlfriend, fellow Simmer Sasha (Vixella), James and Maddy decided to explore their relationship further since they've always had such a strong connection. So early this year, he flew all the way from Sydney to Melbourne, where she lives. They've always had great rapport with another and they've always had great chemistry, so it comes as no surprise that the Simming community has always shipped them as a couple. It looks like they're taking it slow, but we couldn't be happier that they are now together, whether as friends or a couple!

I figured this a lonnnnng time ago. Donno why it took them so dang long. He's always at her house, she's always so conveniently "Popping In".... I thought this from day 1. Happy for them, anywhoooo....

Well, the reason why they, would visit his place is because they would take turns traveling together for the EA Game Changers conventions.I think why they never hooked up a long time ago is because they lived 8 1/2 hours from each other and she had a boyfriend for a while, who was a nice guy, but it seemed they just didn't have a whole lot in common. They mutually broke up in early 2019 and she struggled with it and other issues like moving and faulty internet afterwards, and was a mess for a while. I'm sure besides not really having much in common, there's no way he didn't notice the natural chemistry between the two.

Here is the video where she revealed in August of last year that she had broken up with Pat/Paddy, her ex.

And like James mentioned in reveal video, timing was everything. They are taking it really slow and have yet to jump into a physical relationship, because they don't want to ruin their good friendship, which is wise. As of now, they are roommates. Smile

It may just be me, but Pat seems to be uptight, and overly serious, where James has a beautiful smile, and seems more 'connected' to her. To me, James and Maddy are very happy. Pat gave off vibes of being a 'moody' person. I could be wrong, as I don't know them all personally, it's just what I feel. I'm glad she's with James.

I agree, I have seen them together on her sister's vlog and he was serious most of the time and he didn't really care for games at all. He only participated in Deli's channel when she a coaxed him to. James and Maddy really do have a good rapport together, they've been friends for 6 years, and they are very relaxed around one another. I think they are a perfect fit. extrahappy

Right! Body language and expressions, if peeps are paying attention, says a whole lot about people and couples. When I watched Maddy and Pat, when she looked at him, it was like - guarded, as if she was not sure if what she was about to say would upset him! I wanted to jump thru my computer and slap him upside his stupid head and make his eyeballs twirl around. Like you said, he showed no interest in the game. I just didn't see, support for her interest in the game at all.

James on the other hand, just filled my heart with happiness for both of them. They looked at each other, smiled and laughed together. When she looked at him, she seemed happy and relaxed in being with him.
I'm so happy for them!

They were already starting to have issues before their last vid together, which was actually around the time Island Living came out. It looks like she deleted some of their more cringy videos, especially the later ones where there is obvious tension. I found a few she kept up I'll post below, plus the Christmas one right before they broke up. I think they hooked up in the first place because they were physically attracted to one another but it seemed like they had little in common besides watching movies, music, going out, etc. She would sometimes say in her vids that he was more of an active guy and likes to play sports, not sit and play games. But I think that he did try to make their relationship work, but it was obvious from all the collabs, traveling, and Freudian slips (they both had let slip some eyebrow-raising things on their collabs that made it clear) that James and Deli did together that it put on too much of strain. I mean, everywhere she went, James was there and it was plain to see that James was after her, so in a way you can't blame Patrick for throwing in the towel.

The global pandemic lockdown was the perfect opportunity for them to finally spend time together and to get to know one another. If they decide to further their relationship and make it work - time will tell.
