Daily Prayer For July 2, 2019
Tue Jul 02, 2019 4:23 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
At times we feel like we don’t have anything left to give…we can feel depleted and inadequate in every way…but like the widow who gave all she had with her 2 mites, you are just looking for people to come to you just as they are with the little they have. You want to be magnified in our weakness, weariness, emptiness, and lack…and just like you took a few fish and few loaves of bread, you will take what little we have and turn it into more than enough. When we come to the end of ourselves, we find your strength, your energy and your resources that never run out.
We lift up to you all who are battle weary. May they find rest in you. At this moment, as we enter into your presence, may we forget the cares of the world and find rest in your arms and may your peace fill our hearts. May we find physical, emotional, mental and spiritual replenishment. May we find renewed hope, strength and healing in the name of Jesus. May we feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, giving us comfort… and may our testimony when we rise from these places of weariness be that you truly are enough. You are the Giver of Life and the One who sustains us…the One who gives rest to the weary…the God who restores our souls.
Please open your storehouses and meet each financial need. Please lay your healing hand upon all who need healing. Please bind the wounds of the broken and draw us all closer to you. Please comfort, guide and make a way for all who are dealing with difficult people and situations. Please make a way where there seems to be no way.
We are grateful that you promise that your grace will always be enough to see us through all we face. We thank you in advance for all you will do on our behalf and for those we love. With humble, grateful hearts we bow before you and praise you. How blessed we are to know that we are never alone and you walk with us through these hard places and difficult days. Help us to persevere and keep running the race before us so we bring glory to your name. In the name of our Savior Jesus, we ask these things. Amen
May you feel His strength within you today!
