Daily Prayer For May 20, 2019
Mon May 20, 2019 8:47 pm
Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today we lift up to you those who are dealing with terminal health issues… whether it’s for themselves or someone they know. May each person who is dealing with illness feel your peace. Please alleviate any fear or anxiety. We ask for you to ease their pain and discomfort…we pray they will not have prolonged suffering. Please pour out your mercy, grace, peace, and comfort upon each one and all who know and love them.
Saying goodbye is never easy, even with the promise and hope of being together again in heaven. For everyone who is preparing to say goodbye…for everyone who has lost someone and is grieving…for everyone who is dealing with health issues themselves and for those who are watching their loved ones struggling with declining health …please meet each need and do what no physician can do.
We ask for you to send ministering angels. We pray that not one of our loved ones would perish without knowing you. Where there is doubt, fear, concern or worry about the status of a loved one’s salvation, we ask for you to make it abundantly clear so they would have peace…please open doors, soften hearts, give opportunities, bring conviction and revelations as only you can…
Please help those who are feeling unsettled and lost. Please help us all to trust you with the things that we can’t control. Help us to keep our lives, thoughts and actions centered on you. Please give us our daily bread, forgive us our sins and help us to forgive those who have sinned against us. Deliver us from evil. Help us to seize each day and make the most of it, no matter what that looks like. Help us to love well and to be a source of comfort and encouragement.
We love you, Father, and we are thankful to be your children. We’re thankful that we never walk alone and thankful for the grace, love, comfort and hope you give us… especially during the difficult things we face in life. Most of all we thank you for our Savior Jesus who makes it possible for us to come to your throne of grace and ask these things in His name. Amen
May you feel His peace, comfort and nearness friends!
