It was well known that EA/Maxis lied when asked if The Sims 4 was in production at the time when The Sims 3 was running, claiming that there would be no Sims 4 until they finally announced it. Could this be what is going on now? I believe it's very possible... we will find out...

i will wait and see i seriously have doubt it is well known that ea/maxi now hides things when it comes to the sims franchise when with sims3 they where more open to sharing game content

They most certainly do hide things. They lied about The Sims 4 being produced so it doesn't surprise me if they were to lie about a Sims 5. For now, they are keeping very hushed about it, so I think it's a very good possibility that they are. But as you say, we will just have to wait and see...

i do not know why but my little fingers tell me the sims5 will be worst than sims4 and my six sense also tell me that most expansionpack stuffpacks game packs will be recycled content from pass sims games

Maybe, but let's hope that they have learned from their mistakes. I don't know what else that that they can come up with though that they hadn't already come up with in The Sims 2 & 4.

one thing for sure i will keep my eyes open for more info there no way i will make the mistake of buying until more is known on the sims5 so far have no intention of moving on for me to move on the sims5 would have to be a major wow factor

Well, if they have cars, pools, toddlers, washers, dryers, and dishwashers in the base game it will be a good start.

on this i agree and options so each players can customise the game the way they went if players wents a clean game with out for exemple the transgender clothes players could turn it off
