Welcome To Bluewater - The Delarosa Family - Part 1
I was playing Florence Delarosa one day in my Uberhood, and I had her open up a flower shop, Just Flowers and More, as her home business was a success and she wanted something bigger. Well, into her first day in her new flower shop, summer storms arrived and lightening struck the tree in front of her shop and it caught on fire. The usual, sims flipping out, etc., entailed but I noticed that after the storm ended, the tree was still on fire. So I called the fire department and he fined her for a false alarm! LOL Here are a few picks I took as I found it kinda amusing:
Later the next day...
Florence has resurrected her parents, William and Mary Delarosa, and they are living at home with her.
Could Florence be 'the one'? Will Lazlo decide to take their relationship further?

Is it me, or did Maxis make Mary Delarosa with an uncanny resemblance to Meryl Streep?

Florence invited her new boyfriend, Lazlo Curious over for the afternoon to meet her parents.
First things first, it's time to dance, dance, dance!

Lazlo has certainly grown quite fond of Florence; they have great chemistry, (3 bolts) and that has Lazlo thinking that he wants to have a future with Florence. She's smart, pretty, sweet and sensitive - everything he could ever want in a woman. Lazlo and Florence's dad hit it off so well he laughs at all of his jokes!
Could Florence be 'the one'? Will Lazlo decide to take their relationship further?

That has happened to me and my game also. Where the tree continues to burn and the FD gives me those tickets. That's why I place those fire alarms in my trees.

Holy guacamole, it's been five years since I've continued this sim adventure and these pics are just as old! My old PC had bit the dust just about the time I was going to post them but lucky for me I had already uploaded them to ServImg and there they have been waiting until now. So without further delay, Welcome to Strangetown, Part 2!

- The last time we visited Strangetown, Lazlo and Florence had been dating and Lazlo met Florence's parents. Fast forward, after many successful dream dates, Lazlo had decided that Florence indeed was the woman of his dreams.
He knew for sure that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, so he took her to the fanciest restaurant around, where he planned to pop the question to Florence.
They wined and dined...
And after dinner, slow danced and fell deeper in love...
(A friend of Florence's, a townie I madeover but I can't remember her name.)
They had a blast with the bubble hookah...
Then, taking a break from the bubble blaster fun, a romantic moment bloomed and Lazlo thought to himself, 'This is the perfect moment to ask her!' As their lips and hearts collided, Lazlo prepared to fall on one knee...
Then...
Florence dropped on one knee and presented a box!
"Lazlo, will you be my husband?"
"Yes!", exclaimed a very surprised and stunned Lazlo.
You know, I planned to ask you to marry me this very night but you beat me to it", he said tenderly.
"I-", Florence started but was interrupted as Lazlo gave her a romantic kiss.
"No worries, darlin', I love that you asked me first."
"Really? You don't mind? It's leap year and I just want to spend the rest of my life with you..."
"I've felt this way for a long time about you, too. I couldn't be happier than to be your husband, darling", Lazlo said, as he tenderly gazed into her eyes.

I looked it up on Sims Wiki and I believe her name is Marylena Hamilton.

The last time we left the Delarosa-Curious households, Florence and Lazlo were engaged. Fast forwarding 10 months later, they have decided on a June wedding in which they have invited Florence's parents and Lazlo's large family. What a beautiful day for a wedding...
