How to Manually Package Sims 4 Creations From the Gallery

Here is a simple way to package your creations manually from The Sims 4 Gallery, if you do not wish to use the Sims 4 Tray Importer or have trouble using it. As you may be aware, the folder that contains the downloads is not labeled "Downloads" as it was with the Sims 1, Sims 2, and Sims 3, it is called "Tray" in The Sims 4. I modified this technique from a tutorial on MTS to make it easier and precise. This tutorial requires you to run The Sims 4 in windowed mode if you have more than one creation that you want to package and you must package one at a time to prevent the files from getting mixed up.
So without further ado:
First, you will need to swap out your current Tray folder with a new one. Make a new folder and name it Tray. Go to Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 and replace your Tray folder with the new one as shown. Place your game's Tray folder somewhere else like your desktop for safekeeping.
If you just have one creation to package, you can proceed to the Gallery. If you have more than one creation you want to package, you will need to change your game to windowed mode so that you can access your desktop.
To change your game screen to window mode, click on Options in the upper right of your game screen.
Select Game Options from the Menu.
Select Windowed from the drop box as shown.
Make sure to Apply Changes.
Now, open up your Gallery to your creation and select the download icon as shown to download. I'm using my Simself as an example for this tutorial.
If you just have one creation to package, you can exit your game now, if you have more to package, use your minimize and maximize buttons in windowed mode to access your desktop.
Make a folder on your desktop with your creation's name. I'm using this as an example.
Notice now your Tray folder has contents from downloading from the Gallery.
Cut and paste all it's contents into the folder you have on your desktop for your creation. Be aware that there will be a different number of files depending on the creation, whether it be a Sim, lot, etc., so don't be alarmed if you notice one creation has more or less files than another, it's normal.
If it is a lot there may even be an MP3 file in there if you had a stereo playing on your lot when you uploaded it.
After you cut and paste the files into your creation's folder, compress it into a Zip or RAR file and upload it to Sim File Share. That's it!
To install, extract the Zip or RAR and cut/paste contents into the Tray folder.
