Photobucket and a few other things

Hey everyone and sorry I haven't been on  

I have been pretty busy learning how to recolor and create walls/Murals...it's kept me so busy I don't even play the game anymore    You can find them at Bloom@CherryBlossomSims..I am very proud of what I have accomplished and all the help, support and patience from everyone over there has given me to even start all this..

Anyway..I didn't see a post on Photobucket boy they have really messed up..and no warning to anyone

Cinda..I have a problem as well..as you know it took me forever to learn how to put the links from Photobucket and the Affiliate Buttons together..now I started using Serving.com for my host with the Affiliate Buttons..

How in the world do I get the links together with Serving.com and buttons..

And last..I can't read any of the topics..I don't remember if I ever told you or not I am color blind and all I see is black, white, red, and grey..and the background and the print looks all the same and I just can't see them..

As you read over at CBS a lot of members can't even right click on some of there pictures in PB..to save them..so a lot of pictures for years are gone for good..

Let your members know about that..before it is to late..make a post on it and sticky it..

I was using the Image Url and direct links so that wasn't working..I will try the other one..

Now I forgot to mention this is for the widgets that I have the Affiliate Buttons on..
I still don't have an Affiliate Button from you girl

I hope everyone gets this fixed..I can't believe they didn't even give a warning..

Thank you Cinda and your very welcome..I wasn't sure if you had heard or not and I needed to come and say hi lol..

What really makes everyone mad is there was no warning, no email not even going to spam because I check my spam mail daily..

I hope it was ok..I gave the link to CBS for that Global Post you put up so they can read it..

There are so many people that have used it for their personal pictures..I bet a lot of them lost those as well..since they probably posted on Facebook..that just tears me up..and omgosh I would be devastated if that was me..

I am also taking everything off of tinypic..they are associated with PB..I'm not going to take a chance so am taking everything off of there as well..

Oh it's going to be a very long week lol..

Oh really..I didn't know that..but birdgurl's pictures are still gone..

I still wouldn't trust them and as soon as I move everything off of tinypic..I am deleting both accounts..they are not worth the time of day to spit on ..

I agree, everyone needs to pull the plug on PB.

I have made it my top priority for finding a 3rd party hosting site..now tilly has a list of several and I sent an email to Imgur and they do, do 3rd parting hosting..

I am waiting on a response back to them asking how I can share that email..it has a lot of information, links and pictures so it would be hard to copy and paste it..

I will let you all know when I can get that email to you..

UPDATE:

I will just be adding some links to CBS instead of me copy and pasting everything again..

Cinda how do you go about getting more than one Servimg.com account..how do you sign up for it..because I got mine though having my site..is that even allowed


Also, I found out that Servimg.com is unlimited to pictures but if you have folder your only allowed 32..with 25 pictures in each..I like to have folders..lol so I don't have to dig through all of the pictures trying to find something lol

I am also using Imgur..they assured me that they are a free 3rd Party site..so I am using them as well..

Ok thank you for this information..

I emailed Imgur..and we passed emails several times with them insuring that they have free 3rd party hosting..so that is what I am using for odds and ends that isn't related to my site..so may do another one for my Sims2 creations and all that..

I noticed that some Photobucket pics of mine don't appear anymore in my blogs section. I edited my posts there to see a possible PB URL but they don't even appear. Or did I post them using the forum photo upload feature (hosting images) ? I can't remember too well.

I have no true PB issue. My pics from there still appear on my Wordpress and Dreamwidth blogs with their original URL. So I'm a bit confused.
