Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We ask for you to bring peace to those who are struggling trying to come to terms with the things that are happening in their lives…we may be in a place or situation that we could never have envisioned for ourselves, but you are with us… you are still on the throne and you are fully in control. Nothing has escaped your notice… nothing will happen to us that you have not already made a plan and provision for… help us to look for the beauty that will rise from the ashes, ruins and rubble of what was…

Lord, we pray that you will help heal the wounds that come from the changes and losses we’ve experienced. We pray that everyone will feel your presence, your strength and comfort… in this life there is much pain, but there is also overcoming… we are told that we may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we will not be crushed. We may not understand what is happening, but because of Jesus, we have no reason to despair… we may get knocked down, but we are not destroyed…you will pick us up and put our feet on solid ground…may everyone praying, build their foundation on you and your promises, your words of encouragement and your truths. You are the same yesterday, today and forever…your Word stands forever and you do not fail. The world may change, everything known and comfortable in our lives may change, but you will never change…You are our stability, our anchor and our hope. Your Word brings life…your Word brings hope…your Word gives us strength and encouragement to know that the things that we go through are common to man…our struggles are known by you, and it doesn’t matter who or what may come against us, because you are for us and greater are you, than anything in this world.

Father, please pour out your blessings, grace, favor and mercy upon my friends and their loved ones. We pray to feel your stabilizing force in our lives today. We pray that we will have your courage in the face of uncertainty… we pray that we will not view changes in our lives as indicators of our value or worth…we are more than our social status, marital status, financial status, physical appearance, our health issues, our losses or our struggles. May we remember who we are in you. We thank you and praise you and we give you this day and all that is in it. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen
