Daily Prayer For February 21, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We pray today for anyone who is feeling burnt out, stressed out or in need of a vacation… we ask that you would help them to find refreshment for body, mind and spirit…may all who are feeling drained by grief, loss and depression…for all who are weary from illness and disability…all who are just so tired they can’t even remember what it feels like to not be tired…we ask for healing in every area of life, Lord…

May everyone feel your Spirit come upon them in ways that are undeniable…may their bodies relax and may they feel tension and stress leave their body…help us to release our worries and cares…help us to be honest and real so you can heal our deepest hurts…we pray for deep, restorative sleep for all …we pray for those who can’t stop their racing anxious, or worried thoughts… please help those who are in constant over-drive and they just don’t feel like they can ever relax, slow down or let their guard down …

Lord, please lead us to the resources we need…please give us wisdom and insight on things we can do to help ourselves and please teach us how to do our best and then let go of the rest and leave it all in your hands. Father, our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health are all so intertwined. Help us to find balance in all things…please provide financially so we can take care of things that we have had to let go…please make a way where there seems to be no way when it comes to financial necessities…help us to be good stewards with our time, with our health,with our wealth, with our schedules, with our thoughts and with the things we invest our time and energy to.

Help us to find your strength, joy and peace that is beyond our own…help us to seek you constantly as our healer, counselor, guide and companion… let us hear your still small voice that is constantly calling to us to enter into your presence… please give us more of Jesus, so everyday there is less of us and more of Him…have your way in our lives, Lord…revive whatever has died within us and fan the flames of our first love for you. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
