Daily Prayer For January 30, 2017

Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we come to you today, we admit our great need for you…we admit we are powerless without you. Some among us find themselves battling with old feelings, hurts, fears and anger that they thought were long gone…some are dealing with sadness and depression that they thought had been under control…others are struggling with health issues that have pushed them beyond what feels like their breaking point…

Lord, we call on you for your help…we cry out to you and we know that you hear our cries. You tell us to be anxious for nothing and to wait on you and to make our requests known to you…Lord, you are the lifter of our heads. You are the one who calms the stormy seas and quiets the raging winds…please calm and quiet all that is restless and stirred up within us. You know each need before we ask…Lord, we just bow before you and reach for the hem of your garment and long for a touch from our Savior…

Lord may everyone who is praying find comfort as they remember that the same Creator who holds and sustains the universe, is holding and sustaining them now. Thank you for being our stronghold in times of trouble…thank you for being a refuge for all who call on you in truth… we thank you that by Christ’s stripes we are healed…

Lord, we ask for your Spirit to fall upon us and bring peace and relief this day. We ask for you to calm our minds and troubled spirits amidst the chaos and divisiveness that surrounds us at every turn. Help us to hear your voice above the harsh words of others…soothe our spirit’s that are distressed because of all that is happening in the world, in our families…in our lives… thank you for being Our Healer, Our Comforter and Our Refuge from every fiery attach and every raging storm. We give you all glory and honor Lord and thank you in advance for all you will do. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
