Daily Prayer For January 22, 2017

Hello, Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you and praise you for this day you have given us. We thank you for your faithfulness and your watchful eye that is upon us. Lord, we ask that you would touch all who are dealing with illness. Please lay your healing hand upon each one. According to your will, may we be healed physically, emotionally and mentally. Please help those who are having trouble sleeping. Please help us all to live life to the fullest instead of just existing…teach us…give us the strength, motivation, encouragement and resources that are needed so we can take care of our bodies and health…help us to remember that our bodies are your temple and it is not a luxury to take care of ourselves… help us to be mindful of the things we consume and thoughts we think… help us to remember it matters what we feed ourselves… physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually…sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to do the things we should do to help ourselves when the funds and energy are low, when our plates our overflowing with responsibilities, when there is no help or relief insight… but you are faithful… you care about every need we have…you want to help us…Lord, we are asking for your help in every area of our lives…

Lord, you know where each of us are at…what the needs are…you know how to get us where we need to be…we open our hearts and our hands and ask you to touch us and fill us…have your way in our lives and in our homes…may we feel the comfort, peace and love that only you can give…

For all who are tired we ask for your Spirit to breathe new life…to renew the depleted strength…to give new vision…to give encouragement and hope…Lord, you know the enemy is working hard to bring division…to cause strife… to make us feel defeated and discouraged…may we find your peace in the storms…help us to pray for our enemies and for those who cause us pain…help us to learn when to hold on and when to walk away…help us to have healthy boundaries in our relationships…you tell us to seek your wisdom and we are asking for your wisdom on how to handle the difficult situations and people in our lives…

Lord, may your beauty rise from our pain and struggles…may your joy be our strength…we offer up our praise…we place our focus and attention on you this moment and we thank you for all that is right in our lives…we thank you for the blessings we have and the promise of better days to come. Thank you for your promises, Lord…we cling to them and we thank you in advance for all you will do. In the name of our beloved Jesus we pray. Amen.
