Daily Prayer For September 26, 2016

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…
Dear Lord God,
Your word says, “stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening”…so, Lord, we come to you today and we thank you for all you’ve done for us and we praise you for who you are…you are The One who appoints the sun to shine by day and decrees the moon and stars to shine by night. You are so worthy to be praised, Lord.
We are eagerly anticipating the day that is coming when everyone will know who you are and every heart will be filled with joy to be in your presence…we are grateful that you have a future planned for us where we all will get along…where we will all love you and each other…where we will live in peace and there will be no more pain, sin, division, arguing, bullying or hatred…you know how hard it is to live in this world at times…thank you for giving us hope that better days are coming…that this is not our home and we are only passing through…that one day everything will be as you have planned and we will be home with you…
We thank you for holding us, protecting us, providing for us and being faithful through good and bad. We thank you for comforting those who mourn… for taking up the cause of the afflicted and the rights of the poor…for being a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless…we thank you Lord, for being our champion and advocate and for caring about each one of us, as if there were only one of us… we are so blessed to have such a loving Father who wants to spend time with us…who longs to have a deep, loving, lasting relationship with us…you are a “hands on dad”…there is nothing in our lives that is unimportant to you…nothing that is too small to care about…nothing that will make you ever stop loving us.
We thank you that though we are afflicted, we are not crushed… we thank you that the battle is already won and the victory is ours… no matter how dark our circumstances are, there is still much to praise you for…
We commit this day to you…we say, “thank you most glorious, Lord for another day of life”… May we grow in your knowledge and grace and become the people who you want us to be. Please fill each of us now with your Holy Spirit and lead and guide us in all that we say and do today. In the name of our beloved Savior Jesus we pray, Amen!
