Daily Prayer For March 3, 2016
Fri Mar 04, 2016 3:02 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
The days are passing by so quickly… like the blink of an eye. Truly our days are like a vapor. Help us to make the most of this day…
Help us to not become disillusioned with all that is going on in the world…help us not to become angry, cynical or bitter people… Help us to show compassion and concern to those who are clearly lost and in need of help and guidance …may we strive to be known for our Christ-like love, even when we have righteous anger…let us be known as voices of reason in a world that has lost its way. Please put a burning desire in our hearts to pray for those in authority…whether that be the administrators and teachers who oversee the children in schools, or those who are in government and leadership positions.
Leaders may not always respond to complaints or even acknowledge the concerns of the people they are supposed to serve… often we feel unheard and powerless in our circumstances and surroundings… but you see and hear, Lord and you can do what we can’t… Only you can truly change hearts, minds and lives…we can’t change anyone… Help us to turn our “worry time” to “prayer time.” Help us to become mighty prayer warriors who pray instead of complaining, being negative or dwelling on things that we are helpless to change. Praying is the one thing we can do that is never a waste of time…help us to release our frustrations and the things we can’t change into your hands… Help us to remember to pray for those who are in ministry as well…
Help us to keep our focus on the things that really matter in this life, Lord. You have shown us in your word of the things to come. Nothing should take us by surprise. Help us to keep looking up and trusting that our day of redemption is drawing near… Help us to do the best we can with each day and then leave everything else in your hands. Please go before us and lead and guide us in all that we say and do. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Blessings be upon you all!
