Daily Prayer For December 16, 2015
Wed Dec 16, 2015 5:55 pm
Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Many are brought here to pray because they are at the point of their deepest despair. Lord, please reach down and lift each one up and renew their hope in you…renew their vision of your faithfulness. May they see your hand of goodness upon them. Not everything that happens to us is good, but you are always good, Lord! When we remember what this season is about…when we remember the birth of Jesus and why He came…when we remember His great love for us…it is a reminder that there is hope. Christ’s birth is the greatest reminder that there is more than this life…that you loved us so much you sent your only Son, that if we believe in Him, we won’t perish, but will have everlasting life… May your Word stir and encourage our hearts, Lord…may we be filled with profound joy and gratitude for the precious gift you have given us. May we remember your hope, joy, love and peace are eternal, our trials are not.
Father, may we grow in our faith…may our relationship with you be renewed and grow deeper…may we know you better and more intimately…may your love bubble up within us…may we be filled with your Living Water and may your strength and confidence grow within us… may we remember that our lives have purpose and meaning and every day we wake up, means you are not done with us. There is a purpose in all that we go through… and when we come forth from all of our trials, we will be more like Jesus than before.
Thank you Lord, for making sure we had your Word and Holy Spirit to comfort us…we thank you for the mighty men and women of faith who went before us to show us how things can be done. They were human. They suffered. They cried. They grieved and mourned. They grew tired and went without…but their hope was not dimmed, because it was anchored in you, our Almighty God. May people see what we go through and see that same faith in us. May we inspire hope in others by the way we handle our trials. May we never crumble or falter, but keep pressing on to the finish line of the race before us.
Lord, you know all of our needs and we thank you in advance for the answered prayers and provision that are already in the works. We thank you for the joy that is coming like the dawn after the dark. Lord, we reaffirm our faith in you and we ask for your blessing to be upon us that we might bless others. We ask for you to keep all evil from us and our loved ones. Thank you, Lord for what you sacrificed for us, so we can have an eternal hope and future. We ask these things in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen.
Believing and praying with you for the miracles you’re seeking in your lives!
