Daily Prayer For September 12, 2015

Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the opportunity to gather once again in prayer. Thank you for seeing us through another week. We are grateful for your hand that is upon us and your grace that sustains us.
Lord,there are many praying with us who are struggling with important dates that are coming up that remind them of their loss…many who are feeling a sense of doom as they feel their marriages are on the brink of collapse. Many are feeling panic well up within them, as their money is running out and their options are drying up. Many are fighting health battles on multiple problems all at once…they are under siege and they are weary and tired.
Lord, remind each person that your eye is upon them. You are never late…the enemy tires to bring us to the place where we want to give up…he wants us to turn from you… he loves it when we are sidelined and derailed and when seek a way out because we’ve lost hope… but you are faithful and you will help us to face all we are given… you are greater than anything we face… you are mighty and full of awesome power…we may not think we can take one more day, but you will see us through one day at a time, equipping us for each day…sometimes we are in situations that we would be unable to deal with on our own, but there is never a situation that we cannot handle with your power and strength.
Lord, many have written of how depressed they are…of how they don’t want to wake up…how they have nothing to live for…Oh, Lord, please show each one who is in that place how to live… show them how to pick up their mats and walk…how to live in this life without their loved ones physically in it…how to hold on through the physical pain and ailments, the financial struggles and the times that they feel lost and alone…may they see reminders of your faithfulness and the hope you offer today…it’s hard to feel your peace when we are in the pit of despair, but you are there with us and you will pull us out and put our feet on solid ground…give them the desire to reach out and try one more time…give them a new vision…a new way of doing things…a new mindset…fill them with your peace and give them a glimpse of the eternal…a reminder of what awaits and what is to come…and that we are here for a reason…
Please pour out your blessings on my friends, Lord…speak to their hearts…give them a new sense of purpose and belonging…open the door that will lead them closer to you and shut any that lead things that are not helpful or harmful. Thank you in advance for the work you will do. In the name of Jesus we ask these things. Amen.
May you feel His joy and peace wash over you! Wishing you an abundantly blessed weekend!
