Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

Today as we gather, many are wondering if you have forgotten about them, or if they have done something wrong because of all that is going on in their lives…please give insight, wisdom and understanding into their situations… help them to trust in your plan for their lives…help them to cling to your promises…help each person to feel confident in your love for them and let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have a watchful eye on them and you will see them through everything they are facing… nothing will be wasted in the beautiful tapestry you are making with our lives…
For those who are discouraged because their lives seem to be in ruins and they are struggling where they are, yet they see the people who have hurt them doing well, enjoying life and prospering… remind them that one day the scales of justice will be balanced. You know all and see all, and you are righteous and just… help those who are stung by what is happening to keep their eyes on you and not others, or their circumstances…help all of us not to covet the lives of others, or their possesions…help us to remember that everything will fade away, but what we have in you will last for eternity …you will faithfully redeem what the enemy has meant for harm…you will restore what the locusts have eaten…you are working in every situation in our lives…nothing has escaped your notice and you will see us through the dark valleys until we see the light again and will faithfully meet our needs according to your best will for us and in your timing.
Please strengthen our faith Lord, so we can learn to pray without ceasing. We ask for favor and blessing in this area. We ask to receive all the gifts you have for us… there is so much that is a mystery to us about this life…so many unanswered questions….so many frustrations and so much heartache. As we sit at your feet today, we pray we might find guidance and direction for every area of our lives.

Lord, we ask to find rest, comfort and shelter from our storms, so we can regain our strength, energy and focus. Go before us…make our heart’s your home and change what needs to be changed so we can be more like Jesus. Help us to find the joy in this day! We love you Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen
