Oh Baby! Set
Wed Dec 25, 2019 11:00 pm
I always wanted this Oh Baby! set but it was in the Sims Store and I wasn't able to purchase it. So I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this set and wanted to add it to the Maxis defunct content for Christmas for your Sim's NooBoos! So here they are, The Bouncinator 3000 and The DangleMaster Deluxe!
Players should note that these objects functions only if Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden Stuff is installed. The fixed versions of them are available here at LeeFish.
Recolors of the Oh Baby! Set are also available here:
The Bouncinator 3000
- Description:
- Associating the correct sound with an animal can be crucial to a Sim’s survival. Just imagine you are lost in the wild and can’t tell the difference between a delicious but harmless steakosaurus and a poisonous kill-o-cat. Now you have the chance to teach your youngest ones which animals make what sounds! Several colorful buttons and the associated animal sounds will increase your sweetie’s chances for survival significantly!
The DangleMaster Deluxe
- Description:
- When Simon Kasimudy, father of five, tripped over a tree root, he fell badly and passed out for a second. As he regained consciousness, he saw a trifecta of objects floating above his head. Still slightly dazed, he started batting at them merrily, enjoying himself thoroughly. So when his youngest needed entertainment, Simon used this experience to come up with the DangleMaster Deluxe and soothe his child!
- Some Information from SimWiki on the Oh Baby! Set:
- The Bouncinator 3000
The Bouncinator 3000 is an object that was available for purchase in The Sims 2 Store. Along with The DangleMaster Deluxe, it was a part of the Oh Baby! store set.
Although it was planned to be included in The Sims 2: Apartment Life, due to unknown reasons, EA removed it and later put in the store.
Like The DangleMaster Deluxe, this object can only be used by babies. The object is a type of swing in which babies can play and bounce. There is a set of three buttons on it, which, when pressed by babies, imitate different animal sounds. If the baby's needs go too low, it will constantly press one of the buttons in the chair, unimpressed, and then cry and rattle the swing.
Notes:
•Babies in the Bouncinator will start to cry when their (invisible) bladder need is half-empty instead of near-empty. As a result, they would cry for several hours before actually requiring a diaper change.
•Babies will only complain if their hunger, bladder or hygiene needs get too low. If their energy need gets low, they will simply fall asleep in the chair.
The DangleMaster Deluxe
The DangleMaster Deluxe is an object that was available for purchase in The Sims 2 Store. Along with The Bouncinator 3000, it was a part of the Oh Baby! set.
Although it was originally intended to be included in The Sims 2: Apartment Life, EA removed it due to unknown reasons. After the release of Apartment Life, EA offered it in The Sims 2 Store as a part of the aforementioned set.
The DangleMaster Deluxe is an object that is exclusive to babies. It can only be placed on the floor and Sims from teen through elder can place babies in it. Once placed, they will play with the dangling objects, raising their fun meter. Players should be cautious, though, as they will cry if their hunger, bladder or hygiene motives get too low. If their energy motive is low, they will fall asleep.
Notes:
•Babies in The DangleMaster Deluxe will start to cry when their bladder meter is half-empty instead of near-empty. As a result, they cry for several hours before actually requiring a diaper change.
•This is considered a glitch or an oversight with existing fixes on third-party sites (See below).
Players should note that these objects functions only if Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden Stuff is installed. The fixed versions of them are available here at LeeFish.
