Daily Prayer For September 30, 2019
Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:28 am
Hello Friends! Here is the prayer for today…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for bringing us to the beginning of a new week and for seeing us through this last month. This has been a hard month for all of us to differing degrees. As we go forward this week, please help us to let go of any thoughts that aren’t helpful. We ask that your truth would drown out the noise and distractions from the enemy. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you and to meditate on your Word night and day.
Please help us to overcome bad habits like always thinking about the worst-case scenario and seeing the bad before the good. Help us to let go of the “what if’s” of the future and the anxious thoughts that come with uncertain times. Help us to focus only on, “what is” at this moment and trust that you will help us to handle all that is to come. You tell us to not be afraid because you go before us and you will never leave us or forsake us. Your Word says that the righteous cry and you hear them, and you rescue them from their troubles. You are near to those who are discouraged; you save those who have lost all hope. May your truth penetrate the dark, barren, broken places in our hearts and minds and take root and flourish and transform our lives in every way.
Please be with us in our comings and our goings this day. We ask you to make the rough roads smooth. We invite you to till the ground in our hearts and break up any rocky places where your fruit is struggling to grow in us. Please grant us eyes to see and ears to hear your voice above all others. We pray for your wisdom, knowledge, and discernment in all things. We ask for boldness to go through the doors you open and strength to stay away from the ones you close. We pray for healing mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Please cleanse us, forgive us, fill us, teach us, and mold us into Christ’s image that we might please you and bring you glory and honor. Thank you for our blessings, Lord. We are grateful for each one. We offer our praise and this day to you. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
May you have a blessed day, friends!
