Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today…

Dear Lord,

We come to you today and we lift our voices to praise you. We are told that you inhabit the praises of your people. So Lord, we want to thank you for all that you do…for all that you are…

Lord, we praise you because you are Holy…
We thank you for being the light in the dark and our shelter from the storms…
We thank you for your guidance, instruction and the Bible…
We thank you for the salvation that comes through Jesus…
We are so grateful that you forgive us of our sins and that you see us not as we are, but how we will be…
We are so thankful for heaven and all that awaits us for eternity…
We thank you Lord, for your mercy and grace…
We thank you for your peace that passes all understanding…
We thank you for carrying our burdens…
We praise you for your infinite, unconditional, everlasting love…
We are so thankful that you never leave us or forsake us…
We thank you for your promises that never fail…
We thank you for hearing us when we call…
We are so grateful, Lord, that you are near to the brokenhearted and that you bind our wounds…

We could go on and on, speaking of all the things that we have to praise and thank you for. You are our amazing Father and you are so worthy to be praised! When we are weary, overwhelmed, burdened, stressed, sad or angry…remind us and prompt us with your Holy Spirit, to take a moment and focus on you and not the things of this world. May we live with an attitude of gratitude and a spirit of praise.

We don’t want to ask for anything in this moment. You know our needs already…We just want to worship you, bow before you and tell you how grateful we are to have you in our lives and to be loved and held by you. We thank you for our Savior Jesus in whose name we can pray, Amen.
