Daily Prayer For January 9, 2018

Hello Friends! Here is today’s prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather together today we ask for you to lead and guide us. We pray for wisdom to know your will for our lives. We pray for deliverance for those who are in verbally, emotionally, physically or spiritually abusive relationships. Father, you know the enemy tries to ruin lives anyway he can. He knows our weak spots and where we are vulnerable and he is not beyond sending people with the wrong advice or counsel…he is not above making us think that we need to sit and suffer in silence or to make us too afraid to let others know what really goes on behind closed doors and fake smiles. Reveal what is hidden, Lord and deliver those who have had to lead quiet lives of desperation, torment and unseen abuse.

There are many people who have been hurt by the church…many who have been hurt by people who call themselves Christians, but your love is not in them. We pray for healing, Lord…we pray for deliverance from painful memories and harmful situations…may those who are afraid to trust…those who don’t know who to trust… find hope, healing, deliverance, and restoration from you…lead them to a body of believers and safe people where they will be accepted, loved and encouraged. Lord, do a work within us and within your church…bring believers together…help us not be divided…help us to not fight and argue over petty differences…help us to be united in your love and give us a passion to share that love with the world.

We pray for pastors and everyone who is in ministry and ask for a hedge of protection about them as they serve you… We pray that false teachers will be exposed and removed from places where they can cause damage and lead people astray. Help us to listen to sound doctrine and be well versed in your Word that we might not be deceived…may we continually be drawn close to you and help us to hear your voice above all others.

Please renew the strength of all who are battle weary and surround them with people who will support them and lift them up. Please do a mighty work in these last days, Lord. Bring healing, hope, renewal, revival, and restoration… May we be faithful in praying for others and especially for the lost who don’t know you. Bind our hearts together as one and help us to serve you well.
In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen
